Snowmobiling

Here are pictures of the last time we went snowmobiling. It was fun. Thanks Cameron for going with us. The kids had a blast.
There is also the pictures of the snowmen we built this year. With the snow melting I thought I should get them on here. Next it will be Easter and spring!

Happy Birthday Mikatie

Well another year is added to my age and my Daughter is one year closer to being baptized. Mikatie had her 7th Birthday on Wednesday. I took the day off. Alex and I drove to Thatcher and brought donuts to her class. It was her choice. Then we came home and I made her cake from a recipe. It was kind of fun. I even made the frosting, but I don't think my family liked it too much. They only ate one piece each and 4 days later I threw it out. Saturday I took 2 of Mikatie's friends and one of Alex to see Alvin and the chipmunks the Squeakquel. It was crazy to get 5 kids deal; (popcorn, drink and a candy) get them to the kids and keep all of them entertained till the movie started. Then it was bathroom trips. The movie was real good. She wants to do a bowling party with the family. So I need to find a place and a time that will work with everyone's schedules and get some lanes reserved. Any suggestions?

Last Cheer.

Here she is with her certificate. I think the last video is too long cause it won't up load. Sorry

more Cheerleading

Our Mini cheerleader.

The Grace cheerleaders and their advisers for the last 5 years have taken on a big challenge. For $15 dollars or $20 for sisters you get to send your 5-12yr old to a mini cheer day. They take the girls from 830 am to 300pm and teach them cheers and stunts; then the girls get to cheer at a game during half time. You provide a sack lunch and they get 2 shirts and a skirt. So Friday the 23rd Mikatie was up with the sun and ready to go. We checked her in at 830 on a snowy morning, then went and picked her up at 3pm. She was tired but excited to perform the next evening. At 6:30 then next night she met in the lunch room of the High School and practiced one more time. Then at Half time during the Girl's varsity game she performed. Here are some pictures and if I can get them to upload the video's of the performance. What a wonderful idea to help girls become more sure of themselves. It also helped to fill the bleachers at the game.

HAPPY 2010

We had the fun of spending New Year's Eve with Cameron Williams family and Jay McGregor's family. We had pizza and brownies and ice cream and then watched snowmobiling video at 1130 we went home and watched the ball drop on the tv in our bedroom. What party animals. Vacation time soon passed and it was back to work and school. It snowed one day and we went out and made snowmen. It was fun to play with the kids out in the snow. Then it was in the house for hot chocolate. Yummy!

December 2009

Oh where did December go? We were very busy in December. We enjoyed the Ward Christmas party. We enjoyed Christmas Eve with Mike's Mom and Erin and Brock and his Aunt Laurie. Then we traveled to Aberdeen and spent the night with Mom, Dad and Nann's family. It was a great Christmas season. Nann's family then came to our house and spent the next night. It was fun Thanks for the Gingerbread houses and trains. The kids loved having Calvin, Ted and Veniece to spend time with. Thank you Nann for spending time with me. Then Mike and I left the kids at Dad and Mom's and went on an adventure to Heber where we spent the night at a neat b and b and the day changing out one snowmobile motor for another. We finally got home at Midnight a great practice for New Years Eve the next Night.

November 2009

Well here we are into a new year. I need to play catch up. We celebrated Alexander's 4th Birthday. It is hard to believe four years have gone by so quickly. Then it was Mike's and My Birthday, which I ended up working. Then we had a good Thanksgiving with both sides of the family. Here are a few photos of the Peck Family get together. What a great November.
