Happy Birthday Mikatie

Well another year is added to my age and my Daughter is one year closer to being baptized. Mikatie had her 7th Birthday on Wednesday. I took the day off. Alex and I drove to Thatcher and brought donuts to her class. It was her choice. Then we came home and I made her cake from a recipe. It was kind of fun. I even made the frosting, but I don't think my family liked it too much. They only ate one piece each and 4 days later I threw it out. Saturday I took 2 of Mikatie's friends and one of Alex to see Alvin and the chipmunks the Squeakquel. It was crazy to get 5 kids deal; (popcorn, drink and a candy) get them to the kids and keep all of them entertained till the movie started. Then it was bathroom trips. The movie was real good. She wants to do a bowling party with the family. So I need to find a place and a time that will work with everyone's schedules and get some lanes reserved. Any suggestions?

sounds like fun. My kids are dying to see that movie. I am impressed you attempted cake from a recipe. I can never get those to turn out. As for bowling I know that Tough Guy Lanes in Pocatello does a 2.00 night and shoes are a dollar. Pretty cheap. I think it is a Tuesday or Wednesday night thing. That is in Pocatello though so I don't know places closer to you.

There is also ISU. Don't know the price and sometimes it is quieter, sometimes not. We also have Pine Bowl here just down from us. Tyler went there last year to a birthday party. Sounds fun! Good job with all the kids at a movie! That's why all my parties are still at home, it is crazy enough for me!
