Our Mini cheerleader.
The Grace cheerleaders and their advisers for the last 5 years have taken on a big challenge. For $15 dollars or $20 for sisters you get to send your 5-12yr old to a mini cheer day. They take the girls from 830 am to 300pm and teach them cheers and stunts; then the girls get to cheer at a game during half time. You provide a sack lunch and they get 2 shirts and a skirt. So Friday the 23rd Mikatie was up with the sun and ready to go. We checked her in at 830 on a snowy morning, then went and picked her up at 3pm. She was tired but excited to perform the next evening. At 6:30 then next night she met in the lunch room of the High School and practiced one more time. Then at Half time during the Girl's varsity game she performed. Here are some pictures and if I can get them to upload the video's of the performance. What a wonderful idea to help girls become more sure of themselves. It also helped to fill the bleachers at the game.

That is so cool. Cassie keeps watching the videos over and over pointing at mikatie. She looks all grown up down there. Crazy
Very cute and fun! I agree, she does look all grown up!
Can't believe we are there already, That is growing them up fast. It all most makes one cry to watch her. We love her.
