Easter Fun!

Mike's aunt every year hides eggs for the kids with the help of his sister Erin. Then the kids get to hunt for them. This year Gremers came with us. Here are some pictures of the hunt.

Wow a year has gone bye!

I can't believe it has been a year since I last blogged. Life has been crazy at home and at work. Legacy has finished the new hospital and we have moved all into the same building. It has been a real challenge but we are still working out the kinks. I am adjusting to wearing the same navy blue scrubs day after day. Mikatie has finished 2nd grade and will start 3rd grade this fall. We aren't sure if she will go to Thatcher or Grace. She enjoyed tap dance again this year and is improving each class. She did a great job at the recital. You can tell she really is trying to get each step down and make sure everyone else is getting it too. She had a piano recital and did a wonderful job. She is growing into a beautiful young lady and I wonder where my little girl has gone. Alex also finished preschool this year. He can't wait to go to "real" school this fall. We have heard rumors about Grace going back to half days 4 days, instead of 2 full days. He also had tap lessons but they were more fun time with the 3 boys, which at the recital showed. He is a ham but has fun doing whatever he is involved in. He has discovered the wii and lego games on the wii. We play Harry Potter, Star Wars and Batman every chance he can get.
Mike is farming and still snowmobiling. He went this last Saturday with Cam and Jay. He is always thinking what he can do to change and improve them. I will try to include some pictures. Looking forward to camping next week with Mom and Dad and Martin's Family. Training for the triathlon is going good and my family is getting more fit.

Snowmobiling

Here are pictures of the last time we went snowmobiling. It was fun. Thanks Cameron for going with us. The kids had a blast.
There is also the pictures of the snowmen we built this year. With the snow melting I thought I should get them on here. Next it will be Easter and spring!

Happy Birthday Mikatie

Well another year is added to my age and my Daughter is one year closer to being baptized. Mikatie had her 7th Birthday on Wednesday. I took the day off. Alex and I drove to Thatcher and brought donuts to her class. It was her choice. Then we came home and I made her cake from a recipe. It was kind of fun. I even made the frosting, but I don't think my family liked it too much. They only ate one piece each and 4 days later I threw it out. Saturday I took 2 of Mikatie's friends and one of Alex to see Alvin and the chipmunks the Squeakquel. It was crazy to get 5 kids deal; (popcorn, drink and a candy) get them to the kids and keep all of them entertained till the movie started. Then it was bathroom trips. The movie was real good. She wants to do a bowling party with the family. So I need to find a place and a time that will work with everyone's schedules and get some lanes reserved. Any suggestions?

Last Cheer.

Here she is with her certificate. I think the last video is too long cause it won't up load. Sorry

more Cheerleading

Our Mini cheerleader.

The Grace cheerleaders and their advisers for the last 5 years have taken on a big challenge. For $15 dollars or $20 for sisters you get to send your 5-12yr old to a mini cheer day. They take the girls from 830 am to 300pm and teach them cheers and stunts; then the girls get to cheer at a game during half time. You provide a sack lunch and they get 2 shirts and a skirt. So Friday the 23rd Mikatie was up with the sun and ready to go. We checked her in at 830 on a snowy morning, then went and picked her up at 3pm. She was tired but excited to perform the next evening. At 6:30 then next night she met in the lunch room of the High School and practiced one more time. Then at Half time during the Girl's varsity game she performed. Here are some pictures and if I can get them to upload the video's of the performance. What a wonderful idea to help girls become more sure of themselves. It also helped to fill the bleachers at the game.
